1) Is there a deadline for filling out applications?
No, you are welcome to complete an application form at any time during the year.
2) Is this an application for Full Time employment?
No, our application form is for seasonal employment. However, some of our locations are open year-round or for extended periods beyond the summer months. As a result, there is a potential for work during those times as well.
3) What are your office hours?
Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. with the exception of holidays. No appointment is necessary.
4) Can I fax, mail or e-mail my application to you?
It is important that you bring your application (and resume if applicable) in person to our Human Resources office, as there is a short screening interview at the time of application. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider you for seasonal employment without that short interview. This may not apply where you have seen an advertisement in a publication or newspaper for a position. In those cases, the advertisement will identify the process of how to apply.
5) How long will my application be kept on file?
Applications remain in our active files until October 31st each year. After that , we would invite you to re-apply for the upcoming season. If there are no changes that need to be made to your application or resume since the time you applied, we would be pleased for you to contact us to request that your current application be reactivated for the coming year.
6) Where are you located?
We are located at the Niagara College Maid of the Mist building, 5881 Dunn St., Niagara Falls, Ontario.
