Queenston Heights Restaurant Showcases Niagara’s Freshest Crops
and Growing Talent
Queenston, ON – The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) is pleased to announce an exciting season of culinary events. NPC’s seven world-renowned chefs from its six popular restaurant venues are working together to present opportunities for locals and visitors alike to sample their finest creations. Join us over the next several months in the spectacular setting of Queenston Heights Restaurant as NPC presents the following events:
Celebrate the harvest at the ‘End of Summer BBQ’ on September 9 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on the patio at the foot of Brock’s Monument. NPC’s team of chefs will prepare an unbeatable selection of barbequed dishes, while guests enjoy wine samples from Creekside Estate Winery, product samples from Molson’s Brewery and live entertainment. Tickets are $25.00 plus applicable taxes and gratuity. Child pricing available upon request. Cash bar. Tickets are limited. Call 905-262-4274 to reserve your space.
NPC is also proud to host the largest culinary apprentice program in Ontario. The Second Annual Chefs and Apprentice Cooks Showcase Dinner, to be held on October 25 will feature a six-course dinner created by NPC’s chefs in partnership with its apprentice cooks, featuring wine pairings from the award-winning ‘Best of Niagara’ wine list. With an unsurpassed view of the lower Niagara River, Niagara’s tender fruit orchards and world renowned vineyards, this evening promises the perfect combination for an unforgettable dining experience. Tickets are $100 inclusive. Proceeds from this special evening will benefit The Niagara Parks Commission Apprentice Cooks Scholarship Fund. Following last year’s successful sold-out event, the Showcase of Winter Delights is set to return on February 24, 2008, with delicious themed stations and wine pairings from the award-winning ‘Best of Niagara’ wine list.
