Annual Easter Show at Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse
Niagara Falls, ON – The Niagara Parks Commission’s Floral Showhouse is pleased to once again feature a seasonal favourite – The Easter Flower Display – a Niagara tradition for over 60 years. An added feature to the Easter Display will be the addition of real bunnies, a treat for kids and adults alike.
The Easter show features a cross display of lilies surrounded by colourful and fragrant spring flowers such as daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and azaleas. The warm and serene setting is bursting with gorgeous blooms, orchids and exotic tropical plants as well as beautiful songbirds to get you in the mood for spring. The Floral Showhouse features eight different displays each year, so you can return again and again to discover paradise right in the heart of the city.
Admission to this year-round attraction is free. Located just south of the Falls at 7145 Niagara Parkway, the Floral Showhouse is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Parking is available on site. The bunnies will be on site until March 25, and the Easter Cross will be on display until April 2.
Another popular year-round tropical escape is the Butterfly Conservatory, home to over 2,000 butterflies. Located on the grounds of the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, the Butterfly Conservatory is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission: $11.00 Adults; $6.50 Children 6-12. Children 5 & under are free. Free parking is also available on site at 2405 Niagara Parkway.
The Niagara Parks Commission, an agency of the Government of Ontario has preserved and maintained the parklands and attractions surrounding the Falls without tax dollars since 1885.
