Schools Marathon Challenge Participants Win Pizza Party

The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) is proud to announce that the school with the most participants in the 7th Annual Schools Marathon Challenge was l’École élémentaire catholique du Sacré-Coeur of Welland, Ontario. With 64 students completing the 2.195 km race from Rapidsview Parking Lot to Table Rock on October 24th, Sacré-Coeur broke the winning streak of Mary Ward from Niagara Falls, who had won the competition for the past four years.

To recognize the hard work and training that these students exerted to get to the finish line, Pizza Pizza, a generous sponsor of the Schools Marathon Challenge, will be awarding a pizza party at l’École élémentaire catholique du Sacré-Coeur on Tuesday, November 23, 2010.
