Niagara Parks to Once Again Take Part in Sleep Cheap
Niagara Falls, ON – In recognition and celebration of its 125th Anniversary, The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) is once again pleased to be part of this year’s ‘Sleep Cheap, Charities Reap’ fundraiser.
NPC will take part in this great initiative between the hours of 4-7 p.m. each day of the promotion from November 15-18, by offering $5 admission to its Niagara’s Fury and Journey Behind the Falls attractions, or by way of a per person, per attraction donation of a non-perishable food item. Parking at NPC’s Falls Parking Lot will also be only $5 during this period. All parking and admission fees collected during the event will go to the Greater Niagara General Hospital Foundation in support of the future Walker Family Cancer Centre, while non-perishable food items will be donated to Project S.H.A.R.E.
During the evening, Elements on the Falls Restaurant on the upper level of Table Rock will also be providing a 25% discount on regular menu items (excluding alcohol, taxes and gratuities/reservations recommended) and NPC’s Tim Hortons outlet will be open for those looking for a treat or warm beverage that night.
“We encourage our residents and visitors to take advantage of this opportunity and join us in helping to support these two community causes,” started NPC Chair Fay Booker. “My hope is we can top last year’s contributions of more than $3,160 donated to the Walker Family Cancer Centre and the 800 pounds of food, equaling $2,000 that was provided to Project S.H.A.R.E.”
Created in 1885, The Niagara Parks Commission is an Agency of the Government of Ontario. Established to preserve Niagara Falls and the Niagara River Parkway for the enjoyment of its visitors, The Niagara Parks Commission operates at no cost to taxpayers.
