The Ontario Heritage Trust to Present Award to
Outstanding Volunteer
Niagara Falls, ON – During Ontario Heritage Week, The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) is pleased to host a special presentation made by the Ontario Heritage Trust’s (OHT) Volunteer Recognition Program, on February 23 at 2 p.m. at NPC’s Oak Hall. Outstanding volunteer, Tim Warnick, the Organizer/Coordinater of the Battle of Ridgeway and Fenian Raids re-enactment at Old Fort Erie will be recognized for his tireless efforts.
NPC and the Town of Fort Erie nominated Mr. Warnick for this honour, who for the past decade has volunteered his own time and resources to organize and coordinate these annual public events. Mr. Warnick’s dedication has kept the memory of these important historic events alive for the hundreds of visitors and volunteers that have come to be a part of the battle re-enactment each year.
