Christmas Display at the Floral Showhouse

A Festival of Winter Colours

Niagara Falls, Ontario – Christmas will officially arrive at the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse in the second week of December. Discover traditional red, white and pink Poinsettias as well as many unusual varieties and forms. Cyclamen, Azaleas, Christmas Cactus and Paperwhite Narcissus add to this spectacular Festival of Winter Colours.

As final touches, the Floral Showhouse is adorned with lights, garland, ribbon and many other Christmas surprises. The free flying tropical birds throughout the Showhouse add to the Christmas merriment.

Bring your family and experience the sights, scents and sounds of Christmas at the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse. Admission to the Floral Showhouse is FREE to the public throughout the winter season. Hours: November: daily 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and extend to 7:30 p.m. for the entire month of December (closed Christmas day). Visitors may call 905-354-1721 to confirm opening date. The Floral Showhouse will be closed on Christmas day. The show runs until mid January, 2009.

The Floral Showhouse, located at 7145 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, is owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission. The Niagara Parks Commission is an Agency of the Government of Ontario that has preserved and maintained the parklands and attractions surrounding the Falls without tax dollars since 1885.
