Public Meeting to Form “Friends of Laura Secord” Group
Niagara Falls, ON – June 22, 2013 will mark the 200th anniversary of Laura Secord’s famous walk. Plans are underway to celebrate her remarkable contribution to the War of 1812 and Canadian history. A special public meeting has been planned to establish a new Friends of Laura Secord group. All members of the public are welcome to attend and learn more about plans to preserve, strengthen and honour the story of Laura Secord. Refreshments will be also served.
