Public Safety in Niagara Parks
Public Safety is delivered by The Niagara Parks Commission through:
- Identification and remediation of hazards relating to infrastructure
- Visitor risk management and public safety planning
- Appropriate levels of search and rescue services including its own NPPS
- Targeted prevention, education and information programs
- Communication of site specific hazards to visitors
- Co-operation with other departments, non-governmental organizations, tourism operations and service providers
