Niagara Parks Trail Safety
The Niagara River Recreation Trail is established for the enjoyment of walking, jogging, bicycling, and inline skating. Please be aware of the following:
- No motorized vehicles are permitted including e-bikes, however mobility aids used to transport a person with a disability are permitted
- Users of the trail are to be aware of other users and use the trail safely
- Be aware of the potential of inherent hazards on uneven winding grounds and blind curves, hills, bridges and entrances to roadways and private drives
- Motorized snow vehicles may only be utilized where permitted and posted by signage by The Niagara Parks Commission
- Operators of motorized snow vehicles must have insurance and obey applicable statutes including the Niagara Parks Act and the Motorized Snow Vehicles Act and Regulations
- All users must obey regulations, signage and the direction of a Niagara Parks Police Officer
