Looking for a new way to celebrate Mother’s Day in Niagara? Here’s our top picks for planning an unforgettable Mother’s Day in Niagara Parks.
Plan a Mother’s Day Brunch
On Sunday, May 13, guests can enjoy a special Mother’s Day Bunch at four of our locally-sourced restaurants along the Niagara Parkway. Savour a selection of brunch favourites like Eggs Benedict, Vegetable and Havarti Cheese Quiche, or Belgian Waffles topped with warm berry compote and pure Canadian maple syrup. Prices start at $31.95 for adults and reservations are recommended. View our menus here.
Visit the Hydrangea Show
Visit the Floral Showhouse, a short walk from Table Rock, to see our annual Hydrangea Show which features a stunning display of blue, pink and white blooms in a tropical setting. Collections of orchids, succulents, and other tropical plant species are on display throughout the year that reflect the changing seasons. Admission to the Floral Showhouse is $5 for adults and $3.75 for children six to 12 years of age.
See Spring Blossoms
This weekend is the perfect time to take in all of the spring blooms that can be found all along our scenic 56 kilometre Niagara Parkway between Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Take a drive through the north end of Niagara Parks to see our collection of cherry blossoms, stroll along magnolia lane at the Floral Showhouse, or take in the tulips and daffodils blooming throughout Queen Victoria Park. Stay up to date on what’s in bloom in Niagara Parks here.
Stop for Afternoon Tea
McFarland House, one of Niagara Parks’ oldest and most historic properties, will be serving an exclusive afternoon tea in celebration of Mother’s Day. Enjoy freshly baked goods and traditional afternoon tea in our glass-enclosed Conservatory Tea Room. Reservations are highly recommended.
