Heritage Christmas Open House

Experience a traditional nineteenth-century Christmas as McFarland House is decorated by the Garden Club of Niagara using period authentic materials! Victorian era crafts, carols and refreshments will take you back in time inside one of Niagara’s oldest and most significant heritage sites.
McFarland House
For more than two centuries, McFarland House has stood as a monument to the impeccable demeanour, good taste and gracious living that epitomizes Niagara-on-the-Lake. Built at the turn of the 19th century by Scotsman John McFarland, the home was used as a military hospital during the War of 1812 by both the Americans and the British.
