Donation Requests

The Niagara Parks Commission is an Agency of the Government of Ontario and is committed to giving back to the community. Niagara Parks’ mission is to preserve and promote the natural and cultural heritage along the Niagara River for the enjoyment of visitors while maintaining financial self-sufficiency. Niagara Parks’ vision as Ontario’s Niagara Parks is to be an innovative example of sustainability as the environmental and cultural stewards of the Niagara River corridor; to be a welcoming, accessible and inspiring place offering world-class natural, historical and authentic experiences, to be a source of national pride and identity and to be one of the most spectacular Parks in the world.

Applying for Donations

Requests for donations must be in keeping with Niagara Parks’ mandate and corporate business objectives. To apply for a donation please review the eligibility criteria, then complete and submit the form to provide relevant information. Requests must be submitted at least six weeks before the date of the event. Please do not send requests by mail.

Eligibility

Eligible organizations include charitable and registered non-profit organizations, recognized community and social service organizations, recreation clubs and/or groups and schools or education programs.

Eligible organizations must be located in the Province of Ontario.

Fundraisers for personal gain are ineligible (i.e. stag and does, personal trips or relief of personal debt, etc.)

Niagara Parks Donations

If your request is approved, Niagara Parks will provide a donation of two complimentary strips of tickets to Niagara Parks attractions, valued at $459.66 total, or up to the equivalent dollar value of individual attraction passes for Journey Behind the Falls, Butterfly Conservatory or Historic Fort Erie.

Eligible organizations are able to apply twice a year for two passes or once a year for a total of four passes.

Niagara Parks does not require a tax receipt for these contributions.
