Niagara Parks Parking
Parking Niagara Falls Ontario
Niagara Parks spans the Niagara River corridor, from Fort Erie, through Niagara Falls, all the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake. You’ll find endless places to explore! Why not leave the driving to us? Check out our hop-on, hop-off WEGO bus system.
Why does Niagara Parks charge for parking?
As a self-funded agency of the Government of Ontario and environmental/cultural stewards of the Niagara River corridor, Niagara Parks is responsible for over 1,300 hectares of open parkland along the 56-kilometre Niagara Parkway, from Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake and does not receive any tax dollars. The additional revenue from the paid parking locations throughout the year is invested back into Niagara Parks to address the required repairs and improvements needed at sites such as (but not limited to) Dufferin Islands, Kingsbridge Park and Queenston Heights Park, so that local residents and guests alike may continue to enjoy these natural areas.
That said, we understand that many residents and guests frequently visit these areas, so we offer Daily and Annual Parking Passes (available to Ontario residents), for residents and guests who often visit these areas for walks, hikes, and picnicking. All 2025 parking pass products can be used for up to two vehicles (two license plate numbers) from the same household to maximize cost savings. Alternatively, for those who are not interested in purchasing one of our annual parking passes, we still offer over 60 free parking areas across Niagara Parks. Many of these are found in the south and north areas of the Niagara Parkway. For local residents wanting to enjoy a walk, cycle, run, in Niagara Parks, we encourage them to also make use of these free parkettes.
