WildPlay Whirlpool Adventure Course

Just a few kilometres north of the Falls on the Niagara Parkway, the Whirlpool Adventure Course at Thompson Point offers a fun and thrilling experience of suspended obstacles and ziplines in the midst of nature. Choose from one of three self-paced courses high above the Niagara Gorge overlooking the swirling waters of the Niagara Whirlpool!

WildPlay Niagara is the official supplier to Niagara Parks, providing both the Zipline to the Falls and Whirlpool Adventure Course experiences to visitors.

Adventure Awaits

You’ll start with a training session on the ground to get comfortable using the ziplines and the continuous belay system. Then, you’ll climb up a ladder and start making your way from tree to tree by walking across tightropes, climbing up cargo nets, sliding down ziplines, flying through the air on rope swings, leaping onto swinging logs and balancing on wobbly bridges.

Customize your Experience

Looking for something even more thrilling? Ask about adding the Extreme Course to your adventure! This course will really test your limits with more obstacles and ziplines. You’ll also have a chance to try the 40-foot “What’s to Fear Jump”, a lose-line plummet to the forest floor.

Kids Course

This single-level course reaches up to 15 feet high and is ideal for kids between the ages of 5 and 12. The course offers a variety of fun and challenging obstacles, including rope bridges, balance beams, and ziplines, all tailored to provide a safe yet exhilarating experience. With trained staff on hand to guide and support them, children can easily join in on the adventure.
