Whirlpool Golf Course
Just minutes away from the brink of the falls, access this course via the scenic Niagara Parkway. Nearby hiking trails at the Niagara Glen and a 56-kilometre cycling trail make this the perfect active getaway. Opening in 1951, Whirlpool was the final course completed by the legendary course architect Stanley Thompson. Located at the precipice of the Niagara River Gorge, this is a classic parkland course offering wonderful hole variety and birdie opportunities, a hallmark of Thompson’s very best work.
Battlefield Course
at Legends on the Niagara
South of the falls on the Niagara Parkway, you'll find Legends on the Niagara: a 45-hole golf resort open to the public. Complete with two championship 18-hole courses, a challenging 9-hole short course, a 360-degree driving range, and the TaylorMade Niagara Performance Centre and golf academy, this is a bucket-list golf destination. Battlefield is named for a legendary War of 1812 battle that took place on the land adjacent to the course. This beautiful and challenging course contains a 19-acre man-made lake that comes into play on no less than four holes. From the 13th hole, you’ll get a view of Niagara Falls in the distance. For golfers of all skill levels.
Ussher's Creek Course
at Legends on the Niagara
The second 18-hole course at Legends on the Niagara, Ussher's Creek, is a local favourite. Designed by Thomas McBroom, the course makes its way along the namesake creek. This course features narrower fairways carved out of the surrounding forest with smaller greens that will test the skill of every golfer.
TaylorMade Niagara Performance Centre
At the academy at Legends on the Niagara, the TaylorMade Niagara Performance Centre is a full-service fitting and teaching centre. Take a quick refresher before your round to shake off the rust, try a full private lesson, or talk to a fitter and see how custom-fit clubs can make all the difference.
