March Break Week Fun at Niagara Parks

March 14 – March 18, 2022

Niagara Parks attractions are ready to welcome families for exciting and educational adventures this March Break! The Niagara Parks Power Station will play host to all-new Little Inventors half-day workshops, while all child admissions to the Butterfly Conservatory will include a complementary on-site activity book to enjoy as they explore the site.


Little Inventors Workshops at Niagara Parks Power Station

Canada’s newest must-see attraction, the Niagara Parks Power Station, is full of inspirational STEM education and wonder. Running daily during March Break, the station will host all-new Little Inventors half-day workshops, from March 14 to 18. The workshops feature fascinating STEM-related activities designed to inspire young minds to explore their curiosity and creativity through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Children will learn about the revolutionary work of inventors like Nikola Tesla and George Westinghouse, and dive into the fascinating world of power generation.
Workshops run from 9:00am to 12:30pm and include:

• Kid-friendly guided tours of the power station
• STEM-focused activity stations
• Private, interactive experience at Currents
• Nut-free snack

Learn and Explore at the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory

The winding paths of the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory offer countless possibilities for kids to learn and explore. During March Break, children entering the conservatory will receive complementary educational activity booklets to further enrich their visit as they learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and complete a scavenger hunt for specific species hidden among the thousands of butterflies around them.

Also included free with admission to the conservatory during March Break, visitors can enjoy On the Trail of the Monarch Butterfly. This travelling exhibition, produced by the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in partnership with the Embassy of Mexico, follows the monarch’s amazing journey from Canada to the mountains of central Mexico.

Zipline to the Falls

The Wildplay Zipline to the Falls provides riders a perspective of Niagara Falls that is unmatched, as they descend 670 metres into the heart of the Niagara Gorge on a thrilling one-of-a-kind adventure. The Zipline to the Falls will be open 11:00am to 5:00pm daily during March Break.
