Niagara Parks COVID-19 Information Centre
Niagara Parks continues to follow the guidance of our provincial public health officials in all operational decisions related to COVID-19. In accordance with the regulations implemented on March 21, 2022 by the Government of Ontario, guests are no longer required to wear face coverings indoors at Niagara Parks, with the exception of accessing our transportation services. We support the individual choices of those who wish to continue wearing face coverings at our sites and ask that guests be courteous and respectful in maintaining appropriate physical distance from others where possible.

Are there any new guidelines in place related to COVID-19?

Am I required to provide a negative PCR test at the border?
No, fully vaccinated travellers do not need to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test result to enter Canada by air, land or water. To learn more please visit www.canada.ca/ArriveCAN.

Do I need to complete the ArriveCAN form?
YES. Canada has introduced a new online health declaration form to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. All individuals travelling to Canada are now required to fill out and submit an ArriveCAN form before entering the country. To complete the ArriveCAN form please visit www.canada.ca/ArriveCAN.

When do I need to submit my ArriveCAN form?
You must submit your information within 72 hours before your arrival to Canada and/or before boarding a cruise ship destined for Canada. Please plan ahead to complete this form.

Will I need to submit an ArriveCAN form for every traveller or one per family?
Except for limited exceptions, every traveller must submit an ArriveCAN form. You can find more info on exemptions and who is required to complete the form at www.canada.ca/ArriveCAN.

Do I need to present proof of vaccination at Niagara Parks attractions, restaurants, or shops?
No, at this time proof of vaccination is not required for entry at any Niagara Parks attractions, restaurants, or shops.

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to enter Canada?
Yes. However, children and specific circumstances may be exempt from vaccination requirements. To learn more please visit www.travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/exemptions.

Do I require any type of documentation to enter Niagara Parks' indoor sites?
No. In compliance with provincial health regulations, we currently do not require any documentation to enter Niagara Parks' indoor locations.

What is ArriveCAN?
ArriveCAN is a mandatory Canda Health Declaration Form the Government of Canada has created for international travellers regarding Covid-19. Whether you are entering Canada by air or by land, the ArriveCAN mobile app enables all incoming travellers to submit information quickly, easily, and securely to arrive at your final destination. You must use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel information before and after your entry into Canada. It only takes minutes to help keep each other safe.

Do children under 18 need to complete the ArriveCAN declaration form?
Yes, every individual (even Canadians returning home) must complete the ArriveCAN declaration form.

What happens if I don't submit my information to ArriveCAN?
If you don't submit your information through ArriveCAN, you may be denied:
- Boarding if arriving by air or by cruise ship
- Entry into Canada if crossing at a land, rail or marine border crossing (if you are a foreign national travelling for discretionary purposes)

What is asked on the ArriveCAN form?
All travellers, with limited exceptions, whether entering Canada by air, land, rail or water, must use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel information. You must use ArriveCAN to submit your:
- Contact information and travel details
- Vaccination information and your proof of vaccination
- Pre-entry COVID-19 test results
- Quarantine plan
