Olympic Torch Relay and Celebration in Niagara Fal - FREE

The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay will make its way to Niagara Falls on the 20th of December - at 6:00 p.m. Its journey will end that day at the lighting of the Cauldron at our Community Celebration, at the brink of the Falls at Table Rock Complex Parking Lot. The Celebration will be an evening full of entertainment, interactive events, and fun culminating in the arrival of the Torch and a fireworks display! The Community Task Force identified a "Fire & Ice" theme for our evening celebration...Fire representing the Olympic Flame, a symbol of peace, friendship and enlightenment, and Ice representing the Winter Olympics and the beauty of Niagara Falls in winter.

27th Annual Winter Festival of Lights - FREE

Dusk to 10:00 P.M.

Visit Niagara Parks to enjoy the 27th Annual Winter Festival of Lights, from dusk until 10 p.m. every night from November 7, 2009 until January 4, 2010. Beautiful light displays are located close to the Falls throughout Queen Victoria Park and Dufferin Islands Nature Area. Join us for fireworks on each Friday during the Festival at 9 p.m

Annual Chrysanthemum Show - FREE

The annual Chrysanthemum Show is currently showcasing the magnificent colours of fall at The Niagara Parks’ Floral Showhouse. The show features shades of yellow, gold and bronze along with pinks and white. The displays are a combination of cascading varieties in baskets, pillars and pyramids. Equally impressive are the single stem Exhibition types, some with individual bloom diameters of over 8" across. Combined with the bush varieties, the Floral Showhouse is full of the colours of fall. This year the Floral Showhouse is also proud to display one of the most diverse and colourful Orchid displays, with close to 50 different species being shown. For Orchid lovers, this is a show not to miss!
