Hiking Adventures around Niagara Parks
Niagara Parks offers 15 kilometres of hiking footpaths through six different nature areas along with a 56 kilometre paved Niagara River Recreation Trail. Niagara Parks also maintains a section of the Bruce Trail. The southern terminus is located at the stone cairn in Queenston Heights Park.
Many of the natural areas in Niagara Parks are home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the country. As members of Leave No Trace Canada, Niagara Parks has adopted the outdoor skills and ethics of the organization and encourages visitors to “leave only footprints.”
