Graham Coveney Appointed Chair of the Niagara Parks Commission

Niagara Falls, ON – The Niagara Parks Commission is pleased to share the Province of Ontario’s appointment of Graham Coveney as the Chair of the Board of Commissioners, effective February 12, 2026. Coveney succeeds Bob Gale who previously served as Niagara Parks Chair until his appointment as Niagara Regional Chair in December 2025.

Graham Coveney has served as Vice-Chair of the Niagara Parks Commission since January 11, 2024, and previously served as a Commissioner from 2019 to 2022, during which time he served as Chair of the Property and Infrastructure Committee.

A resident of St. Catharines, Coveney has worked for a large Canadian Financial Institution as a Financial Planner for over 32 years and holds a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Graham was a former Public Member with the Council of the College of Optometrists and Community Member of the Canada Pension Review Tribunal. He has also volunteered with Community Crew, an organization that provides healthy lunches for kids in local schools in Niagara. His other long-standing community involvement includes volunteering as a youth baseball and hockey coach.
