Niagara Falls, ON – Niagara Parks was proud to host the Glucker Cup, presented by ParaGolf Ontario, at Legends on the Niagara on Sunday, September 27, bringing together over 50 athletes for a day of competition, camaraderie and inclusive sport.
This event celebrated excellence in adaptive golf while providing athletes of all abilities with the opportunity to compete on a premier stage. ParaGolf Ontario hopes to continue growing this inclusive tournament and Niagara Parks is pleased to establish Legends on the Niagara as the flagship home of para golf competition in Ontario.
Competitors teed off at 11:30 a.m. in 10-minute intervals across both the Ussher’s Creek and Battlefield courses. The field included five of the top 15 ranked para golfers in the world, highlighted by local standout Tess Trojan, a Special Olympics gold medallist and one of Canada’s leading para-athletes.
Spectators and members of the media attended and supported the athletes as they competed on two of Niagara’s premier championship golf courses.
