Experience Niagara’s Iconic Attractions in a New Light
Niagara Parks is known for its world-class attractions, but the destination takes on an entirely different character after the sun sets. Celebrating its first anniversary this summer, Niagara Takes Flight offers visitors a reason to extend their stay after dark.
Open until 11 p.m. at Table Rock Centre, Ontario’s first flying-theatre attraction offers an exhilarating way to experience Niagara through all four seasons.
At Journey Behind the Falls, guests descend 125 feet through historic tunnels carved into the bedrock and emerge beside the Horseshoe Falls. After dark, visitors have front-row access to colourful illuminations that transform the Falls, while the nightly 10 p.m. fireworks display offers a spectacular view from the lower observation deck.
New this season, visitors to the Niagara Parks Power Station can enhance their day-time experience with the Premium Tour, featuring access to newly restored historic spaces including the original Control Room, General Manager’s Office and new hands-on exhibits exploring Niagara’s role in the development of hydroelectric power.
After dark, the Power Station at Night brings the historic generator hall and 2,200-foot Tunnel to life through vivid lighting, projected archival imagery and an immersive sound and light show. The experience concludes at the end of The Tunnel, where illuminated views of the Horseshoe Falls provide a memorable vantage point for the nightly fireworks. During the Labour Day weekend, Power Station at Night is open from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with final entry one hour before closing.

Summer’s soundtrack comes to a close on Sunday, September 6, with Hedley & Walker taking the stage from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., as the final performer in Niagara Parks’ Sunday Afternoon Concert Series. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy live music surrounded by the history and natural beauty of Queenston Heights Park.
Holiday Fireworks are the Perfect Finale to Summer

Last Chance to Discover Niagara’s History with the Canada Strong Pass
Until September 7, 2026, children 17 and under will receive free admission and youth aged 18 to 24 will receive half-off admission at Niagara Parks’ heritage sites, including Old Fort Erie, Laura Secord Homestead, the Mackenzie Printery and McFarland House as part of the Federal government’s Canada Strong Pass Initiative. Niagara Parks is proud to participate in this program designed to encourage Canadians to explore the beauty of their own backyard, while saving money and supporting local tourism.
Holiday Road Closures
To support a safe and enjoyable Labour Day weekend experience, temporary road closures will be in effect on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6.
The Niagara Parkway will be closed to vehicles from Clifton Hill to Fraser Hill, starting at 8 p.m., with a full closure in place by 9 p.m. Additionally, Clifton Hill, between Victoria Avenue and Falls Avenue, will close starting at 8 p.m., with a complete closure by 9 p.m.
All roads will be reopened by 1 a.m. These measures will enhance pedestrian safety and reduce congestion in the vicinity of the Falls. All road closures are at the discretion of the Niagara Parks Police Service and may be adjusted as required.
