Niagara Falls, ON – The Niagara Parks Foundation is pleased to present its 2024-2025 Year-End Impact Report, which demonstrates how support from donors and community partnerships advances Niagara Parks’ environmental and cultural stewardship priorities. As a registered charity, the Foundation plays a vital role in these efforts through fundraising, education and public engagement, helping to preserve and enhance 56 kilometres of land along the Niagara River corridor.

Key Highlights From the 2024-2025 Impact Report

  • Fundraising for the new four-acre interactive Children’s Garden at the Botanical Gardens, including securing the project’s first $1 million pledge.
  • Advancement of Phase 3 of the Dufferin Islands Visitor Experience and Ecological Enhancement Initiative.
  • The Niagara Parks Foundation was named a 2025 Planting Partner by Trees for Life and received $70,000 from the federal 2 Billion Trees Program.
  • The Toonies for Trees program raised over $63,000 for tree planting efforts. Over 7,000 trees were planted across the Niagara River corridor.
